May 5th, 2022 - An epic day at La Goulette Cruise Port, as we welcome two cruise ships.
MSC OPERA from MSC CRUISES and ISLAND SKY from NOBLE CALEDONIA will visit several destinations in the Mediterranean, .
The Cruise line passengers were very positive about the authentic Tunisian experience in La Goulette Village. They were positively impressed by the warm welcome of the community with traditional folklore music and dancers. La Goulette Village hosts 70 retail outlets most of which offer local artisan products and food. Guests opting for on organized excursions visited renowned sites such as Sidi Bu Said, Carthage and Medina.
A cruise line representative stated that La Goulette Cruise Port is one of the most interesting destinations in the West Mediterranean, as well an option for winter cruising.
La Goulette Cruise Port will host MSC OPERA every Thursday starting from April 2022 which is a breath of fresh air not only for the cruise industry operators in Tunisia, but most of all for the region and all local stakeholders .
A delegation formed by the Minister of Tourism, the Minister of Transportation, the Minister of Economy and the EU Ambassador to Tunisia visited La Goulette Cruise Port. They were given a tour of the facilities and were hosted to lunch on the MSC Opera.

La Goulette Cruise Port features berths with a total of 657mtr which enable the port to receive the mega cruise ships such as the Oasis, Excellence and Meraglivia-plus class cruise ships. The port is fully compliant with international operational, health,safety and security standards. Theport offers a wide range of services to cruise passengers as well an efficient transportation hub.
